About Time Zone Duck
Time Zone Duck is a free tool for comparing local times and finding a convenient time to connect across cities. Add cities, select a date, then adjust the slider or 24-hour ring. Share Times creates a link that restores your comparison. Time Zone Duck is an independently operated website owned by an individual.
How the times are calculated
The converter keeps one instant in time and displays it in each city’s IANA time zone using your browser’s time-zone data. Daylight saving depends on the selected date; offsets can change during the year. Keep your browser and operating system up to date when planning future events.
A time skipped when clocks go forward is moved forward by the clock-change gap. When clocks go back, you can choose the first or second occurrence of a repeated time. Day and night shading represents 06:00–18:00 local time, rather than calculated sunrise and sunset.
On your device
Your chosen cities and display preferences stay in this browser. No account or location permission is needed. After a successful first online visit, the installed app supports offline conversion; shared previews and pages you have not saved need a connection.
